SEATTLE - The Party is back. After a two-year hiatus, Seattle-based wholesale supplier SanMar is resurrecting what has traditionally been one of the biggest, most festive and talked-about parties of the year.
Dancing, cocktails, and superstar entertainment are promised for The Party in 2005, held in conjunction with the PPAI Expo in Las Vegas and scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 12 in the Mandalay Bay Ballroom. Doors open at 8:30 p.m.
SanMar's annual party has become a celebrated institution in the promotional products industry. In the years since its inception in 1998, thousands of industry professionals have mingled, watched incredible performances, and cut the rug at SanMar's party. It has become a beloved staple - a way for pros to let loose after a rigorous day of working at the PPAI Expo and a way to get to know each other.
"In my 10 years with the company," said SanMar Marketing Manager John Lindgren, "I've seen the annual SanMar party grow as one of the most anticipated industry events of the year. It's a way for people that work together long distance, sometimes on a daily basis, to get together in person and have a great time. And the entertainment is always top-notch."
Because of the enormous amount of entertainment options in Las Vegas, SanMar decided to retire their annual party when the PPAI Expo moved there from Dallas. However, industry professionals responded overwhelmingly that they wanted the party back.
